CCFA - Crohn's Fashion Show!

Hey guys, guess what? I was in a fashion show! On March 27th, my parents and I attended a fashion show to benefit CCFA (Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America). The show was sponsored by Salon Amici who provided hair and makeup for all of the girls who modeled. Not only did I attended the event with my parents, but I got to be one of the models as well. My neighbor Arlene had a pink gown that she let me borrow for the show. After a few alterations, it fit great and looked awesome ... I loved it!  And, as I walked down the runway with my feeding tube, it reminded everyone of why they were there in the first place. All the girls who modeled, showed their support for me and the cause by wearing one of my Feeding Friends Stickers on their arms. They all looked absolutely gorgeous. It was a great night and I had so much fun. The women who ran the event were really nice and they invited us back for next years show ... can't wait!

Couple Weeks in of School

          Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated my blog in awhile. Well school has been going great! I just finished a huge project in my Connections class. The project was called 'Restaurant Wars' and it was a group based project. For our restaurant, we had to create a name, logo, business cards, menu, recipes for a cookbook, uniforms, advertisement/commercial, and then finally present everything at an Expo along with samples of our food. Our restaurant was called Sprinkles; "Put a bounce in your step and a sprinkle in your smile". It was a lot of work, but my group and I had soooo much fun doing it.
       
          I have been having a little trouble with catching up in some classes, but I am doing okay. I am still doing the partial day though to help with my transition back to school. I still find myself getting a little tired as the day comes to an end for me. Overall, I am doing just fine with my schedule. I am seeing all of my friends and I love it. School is going okay, and even though I am not 100%, I am still trying my best. The third marking period ends soon and I will be sure to post my grades! Bye guys!
